Sitting in a Pure Elements infrared sauna is an unforgettable sauna experience. You'll find the heat produced by our PureRay® heaters is gentler and deeper penetrating than most
Our PureRay infrared heating elements have the largest surface area of any ceramic infrared heater on the market - 1800 square centimeters. The larger size of our heater simply means more surface area, resulting in an overall lower surface temperature, greater coverage, producing more FAR or LONG wave therapeutic infrared heat in the 7-14 micron range. LEARN MORE about far infrared heat.
PureRay infrared heaters are the first flat panel ceramic heater in the industry. They are a superior alternative to fiberglass and mica flat panel heaters offered throughout the industry. Fiberglass heating elements also incorrectly termed as carbon fiber heaters, start as a piece of flexible
fiberglass (plastic resins and glass cloth). A thin conductive
layer of carbon is printed onto the fiberglass, and another fiberglass
layer is added to encase the layer of carbon into the middle. Then
the entire fiberglass panel is then pressure laminated. Silicon, carbon, styrene, lead, iron, aluminum,
calcium, magnesium, zinc, sodium, potassium, boron and barium are just some of the few material used in these heaters. We found it unacceptable to use lead , aluminum, boron and especially styrene in a therapeutic environment. For this very reason we developed the PureRay far infrared heater.
